Change is in the air!
The Toronto Public Library Workers marched with pride in the 2015 Labour Day Parade. With the federal elections looming, this year's theme is "Time for a Change" - and the Toronto Public Library van could not have been clearer with this message (pictured above, with Local 4948 President, Maureen O'Reilly).
It's also time to eradicate precarious work - in the library and in our communities. Torontonians deserve better. Check out our "Rosie the Library Worker" t-shirts!
Up next: look for the Toronto Public Library workers at the Word on the Street Festival on Sunday, September 27 at Harbourfront.
